Review driver and employee time-off requests

Approve or deny requests, and decide cancellation requests, on the Time off page.

Review and decide

  1. In the sidebar, open Employee Management > Time-Off Requests. The page is called Time off.
  2. Read each request: person, type, dates, number of days and reason. Check the calendar for overlaps.
  3. Tap Approve or Deny. Add Notes for the requester (optional) and confirm.
  4. Check the result on the Time-Off Calendar and tell the person how any pay or schedule question will be handled.

Cancellation requests

When a driver asks to cancel time off that was already approved, the request shows Wants to cancel time off that was already approved. The approved dates stay on the calendar while it waits.

Approve cancel cancels the leave. Deny cancel keeps the original approved dates.

Admin tools and team managers

Admin tools lets the fleet owner add pre-approved time off, cancel existing time off, force a decision or adjust an employee balance. That is different from approving a submitted request.

Employees set as someone's Manager or 2nd Manager review their team in My Time Off, under Team requests. If a request changed meanwhile, refresh before deciding.

FAQs

For Employers & Carriers

DriverPass is a driver verification and compliance management platform built to help carriers streamline hiring, onboarding, and fleet compliance, all in one place.
We save you time and money by automating driver onboarding, licence & document tracking, and compliance monitoring, so you can focus on moving freight.
Any fleet size, from 5 to 500+ drivers. We work with local, regional, and long-haul fleets, including carriers in the U.S. and Canada.
Yes. You can add dispatchers, HR, compliance officers, or managers, each with customized permissions.

For Drivers

DriverPass lets you manage all your documents, certifications, and records in one spot. Stay organized and job-ready at all times.
No. DriverPass is free for drivers.
Your profile and the documents you upload are saved in your DriverPass account, not only on your phone. Sign in from any phone or computer to see them. If you can't sign in, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in page. If you lose a paper document, upload a photo of the replacement when you have it.
Yes. You'll get automatic alerts when documents are about to expire and can upload renewals directly from your phone.

For Shippers

Not as a report. Shippers use Secure Trip in DriverPass to follow their own loads. For a carrier's compliance documents, ask the carrier directly.

Compliance & Safety

We track license classes, medical cards, background checks, training completion, and more. You'll get alerts before anything expires.
DriverPass helps you keep the records. It stores driver files such as licences with their expiry dates, shows what is missing or expired, and sends reminders before a licence or document expires. Your fleet is still responsible for meeting DOT, FMCSA and provincial rules, and DriverPass does not give legal advice.
No problem. DriverPass lets you assign different compliance checklists by driver type so nothing falls through the cracks.
