Pause driver emails

Stop every email DriverPass sends to your drivers with one switch on the Drivers page, and resume them later. Drivers still see notices in DriverPass.

Pause or resume driver emails

  1. Open Driver Management > Drivers.
  2. At the top, click Pause driver emails and confirm. A yellow banner says emails to your drivers are paused.
  3. To start again, click Resume driver emails and confirm.

What it stops

Every email DriverPass sends to your drivers: reminders, notices, document reminders, setup links, the pay period approval email and contractor invoice emails. Drivers still see notices in DriverPass and on their phone, and invoices are still in My invoices.

Emails a driver needs to sign in still go out: sign-in codes and a password reset the driver asks for. Emails to job applicants are not paused. Your payroll inbox still gets contractor invoices.

Good to know

It is one switch for your whole fleet and only affects drivers, not office staff. The button is on the Drivers page for the fleet owner and office staff. Emails skipped while paused are not sent when you resume.

FAQs

For Employers & Carriers

DriverPass is a driver verification and compliance management platform built to help carriers streamline hiring, onboarding, and fleet compliance, all in one place.
We save you time and money by automating driver onboarding, licence & document tracking, and compliance monitoring, so you can focus on moving freight.
Any fleet size, from 5 to 500+ drivers. We work with local, regional, and long-haul fleets, including carriers in the U.S. and Canada.
Yes. You can add dispatchers, HR, compliance officers, or managers, each with customized permissions.

For Drivers

DriverPass lets you manage all your documents, certifications, and records in one spot. Stay organized and job-ready at all times.
No. DriverPass is free for drivers.
Your profile and the documents you upload are saved in your DriverPass account, not only on your phone. Sign in from any phone or computer to see them. If you can't sign in, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in page. If you lose a paper document, upload a photo of the replacement when you have it.
Yes. You'll get automatic alerts when documents are about to expire and can upload renewals directly from your phone.

For Shippers

Not as a report. Shippers use Secure Trip in DriverPass to follow their own loads. For a carrier's compliance documents, ask the carrier directly.

Compliance & Safety

We track license classes, medical cards, background checks, training completion, and more. You'll get alerts before anything expires.
DriverPass helps you keep the records. It stores driver files such as licences with their expiry dates, shows what is missing or expired, and sends reminders before a licence or document expires. Your fleet is still responsible for meeting DOT, FMCSA and provincial rules, and DriverPass does not give legal advice.
No problem. DriverPass lets you assign different compliance checklists by driver type so nothing falls through the cracks.
