Keep equipment registration and inspection files up to date
Attach the right file and its real expiry date to the right unit.
Add or replace a file
- In the sidebar, open Equipment, then Power Units or Trailers. Check the unit's number, plate and VIN.
- Click the Edit (pencil) button on the unit.
- Under Registration Document or Inspection Document, choose the file and enter its expiry date. Uploading a new file replaces the old one.
- For anything else, under Additional Documents click Add Document, then give it a clear name and expiry date.
- Click Update Power Unit (or Update Trailer).
Check what was saved
Each unit shows a chip per file, such as Registration and Safety. If a registration or inspection file is missing, you can click its chip to upload it straight from the list.
Click Docs on the unit to open its files and check every page. A registration, an inspection report and a repair invoice prove different things, so file each one as what it is.
If someone cannot open a file
Equipment files are only for your fleet's signed-in users with equipment access. Check the person's access rather than posting the file somewhere public. An expiry date in DriverPass is a reminder, not a safety check of the vehicle.
