Add and manage office employees

Add each staff member with their own login, department and access settings in Employee Management.

Add an employee

  1. In the sidebar, open Employee Management > Employees and tap Add employee.
  2. On Basic Info, fill in name, Personal Email, Phone, Date of Birth, address and Set Login Password.
  3. On Employment, fill in Position/Job Title, Department, Employment Type, Start Date, Employment Status and Company Email (Login Username). Pick a Manager and 2nd Manager if they approve this person's time off.
  4. Turn on Safety/Compliance Access or Maintenance staff only if the person needs those tools.
  5. Tap Submit, then open the profile with View profile to check it.

Review existing staff

Use the All, Active, Inactive and Terminated tabs, the department filter and the search box (Search name, email, ID, phone). Tap the pencil (Edit employee) to change a record, then Save.

On the edit page, Deactivate ends the person's access and Reactivate restores it. Read the confirmation first.

Who can manage

Managing employees is a fleet owner task. Give each person their own account rather than sharing the owner login.

FAQs

For Employers & Carriers

DriverPass is a driver verification and compliance management platform built to help carriers streamline hiring, onboarding, and fleet compliance, all in one place.
We save you time and money by automating driver onboarding, licence & document tracking, and compliance monitoring, so you can focus on moving freight.
Any fleet size, from 5 to 500+ drivers. We work with local, regional, and long-haul fleets, including carriers in the U.S. and Canada.
Yes. You can add dispatchers, HR, compliance officers, or managers, each with customized permissions.

For Drivers

DriverPass lets you manage all your documents, certifications, and records in one spot. Stay organized and job-ready at all times.
No. DriverPass is free for drivers.
Your profile and the documents you upload are saved in your DriverPass account, not only on your phone. Sign in from any phone or computer to see them. If you can't sign in, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in page. If you lose a paper document, upload a photo of the replacement when you have it.
Yes. You'll get automatic alerts when documents are about to expire and can upload renewals directly from your phone.

For Shippers

Not as a report. Shippers use Secure Trip in DriverPass to follow their own loads. For a carrier's compliance documents, ask the carrier directly.

Compliance & Safety

We track license classes, medical cards, background checks, training completion, and more. You'll get alerts before anything expires.
DriverPass helps you keep the records. It stores driver files such as licences with their expiry dates, shows what is missing or expired, and sends reminders before a licence or document expires. Your fleet is still responsible for meeting DOT, FMCSA and provincial rules, and DriverPass does not give legal advice.
No problem. DriverPass lets you assign different compliance checklists by driver type so nothing falls through the cracks.
