Preview and build a driver contract

Preview a contract template first, then pick a driver and build the agreement in Driver Contracts.

Preview, then build

  1. In the sidebar, open Driver Management > Driver Contracts. Templates are grouped by Payroll, Subcontractor and Owner-Operator, each with Local and US Highway.
  2. To read the wording without a driver, tap Preview, or More actions > Preview template. Tap Choose driver at the bottom when you are ready.
  3. Or tap New contract on the slot and pick the driver in the list (for example Pick a company driver).
  4. In the builder, review the options and the live preview.
  5. Tap Send to Driver. It goes to that driver's pending signatures.

Templates and your responsibility

A slot can use the built-in contract or a PDF you upload with Upload PDF. The template label and driver type do not replace your own review of employment classification, jurisdiction and legal terms. Get professional advice where needed.

If you cannot send

The template library and builder are for the fleet owner. Staff with Safety/Compliance Access can only countersign from Awaiting My Signature. Sending contracts stays locked while your fleet waits for DriverPass approval. If the driver list is empty, set the driver's type first.

Not as a report. Shippers use Secure Trip in DriverPass to follow their own loads. For a carrier's compliance documents, ask the carrier directly.

Compliance & Safety

We track license classes, medical cards, background checks, training completion, and more. You'll get alerts before anything expires.
DriverPass helps you keep the records. It stores driver files such as licences with their expiry dates, shows what is missing or expired, and sends reminders before a licence or document expires. Your fleet is still responsible for meeting DOT, FMCSA and provincial rules, and DriverPass does not give legal advice.
No problem. DriverPass lets you assign different compliance checklists by driver type so nothing falls through the cracks.
