Follow driver signatures and fleet countersignatures

After the driver signs, countersign from Awaiting My Signature to finalize the contract.

Follow the signing order

  1. Send the reviewed contract with Send to Driver. The driver signs it from their pending signatures.
  2. When the driver has signed, it appears in the sidebar under Awaiting My Signature (Driver signed).
  3. Tap Sign now. Set the Company signature and Company initials, fill each company field, then tap Countersign & finalize.
  4. The signed contract shows on the driver's profile, Compliance tab, in the employment agreement row. Open it to check the final PDF.

Why it may still be pending

A driver signature does not finish a contract that also needs the company's signature. The page shows All caught up when nothing is waiting for you. Staff with Safety/Compliance Access can countersign too.

Corrections

For a wrong name, term or recipient, talk to the driver and send a corrected contract. Do not change a signed original or remove the only signed copy. Editing a template does not fix a contract already sent.

FAQs

For Employers & Carriers

DriverPass is a driver verification and compliance management platform built to help carriers streamline hiring, onboarding, and fleet compliance, all in one place.
We save you time and money by automating driver onboarding, licence & document tracking, and compliance monitoring, so you can focus on moving freight.
Any fleet size, from 5 to 500+ drivers. We work with local, regional, and long-haul fleets, including carriers in the U.S. and Canada.
Yes. You can add dispatchers, HR, compliance officers, or managers, each with customized permissions.

For Drivers

DriverPass lets you manage all your documents, certifications, and records in one spot. Stay organized and job-ready at all times.
No. DriverPass is free for drivers.
Your profile and the documents you upload are saved in your DriverPass account, not only on your phone. Sign in from any phone or computer to see them. If you can't sign in, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in page. If you lose a paper document, upload a photo of the replacement when you have it.
Yes. You'll get automatic alerts when documents are about to expire and can upload renewals directly from your phone.

For Shippers

Not as a report. Shippers use Secure Trip in DriverPass to follow their own loads. For a carrier's compliance documents, ask the carrier directly.

Compliance & Safety

We track license classes, medical cards, background checks, training completion, and more. You'll get alerts before anything expires.
DriverPass helps you keep the records. It stores driver files such as licences with their expiry dates, shows what is missing or expired, and sends reminders before a licence or document expires. Your fleet is still responsible for meeting DOT, FMCSA and provincial rules, and DriverPass does not give legal advice.
No problem. DriverPass lets you assign different compliance checklists by driver type so nothing falls through the cracks.
