Send birthday and work anniversary wishes

The This Week card on your dashboard lists upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries. Send wishes sends a short message from your account, once per person each year.

See who is celebrating

  1. Open your Dashboard. The This Week card shows today to 7 days ahead.
  2. It lists Work anniversaries (1 year or more), Birthdays, New hires (past 7 days) and Documents expiring.
  3. Click the gear on the card to choose what to show: Anniversaries, Birthdays, New hires and Documents, for Drivers, Employees or both. Employees includes your office staff logins.
  4. Click a name to open that person's profile.

Send wishes

  1. Next to a birthday or work anniversary, click Send wishes.
  2. The button shows Sending, then Wishes sent. If it shows Try again, click it again.
  3. The message is sent as a chat from your account. A driver gets it in Driver Messages. An office employee or staff member gets it in Employee Management > Messages.
  4. The message wishes the person a happy birthday from your company, or thanks them for their years with your company.

Who can send, and how often

Only the fleet owner account can send wishes. Each person can get one birthday message and one anniversary message a year. Once sent, the button stays on Wishes sent. Nothing is sent by email.

The button only appears once your company profile is complete.

If a date is missing or wrong

Work anniversaries come from the start date. For an office employee, open Employees, click Edit employee and set Start Date on the Employment tab. For a driver, open the driver's profile, click Edit on the Licence & employment card and set Hire Date.

Birthdays use whichever date of birth is filled in: the Date of Birth on the employee form (Basic Info tab), the Date of Birth the driver saved on their own profile, or the Date of Birth entered in Add Driver. Fill in one of them and the birthday appears in the week it falls.

People who are no longer active, and drivers you set as inactive, are not listed.

FAQs

For Employers & Carriers

DriverPass is a driver verification and compliance management platform built to help carriers streamline hiring, onboarding, and fleet compliance, all in one place.
We save you time and money by automating driver onboarding, licence & document tracking, and compliance monitoring, so you can focus on moving freight.
Any fleet size, from 5 to 500+ drivers. We work with local, regional, and long-haul fleets, including carriers in the U.S. and Canada.
Yes. You can add dispatchers, HR, compliance officers, or managers, each with customized permissions.

For Drivers

DriverPass lets you manage all your documents, certifications, and records in one spot. Stay organized and job-ready at all times.
No. DriverPass is free for drivers.
Your profile and the documents you upload are saved in your DriverPass account, not only on your phone. Sign in from any phone or computer to see them. If you can't sign in, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in page. If you lose a paper document, upload a photo of the replacement when you have it.
Yes. You'll get automatic alerts when documents are about to expire and can upload renewals directly from your phone.

For Shippers

Not as a report. Shippers use Secure Trip in DriverPass to follow their own loads. For a carrier's compliance documents, ask the carrier directly.

Compliance & Safety

We track license classes, medical cards, background checks, training completion, and more. You'll get alerts before anything expires.
DriverPass helps you keep the records. It stores driver files such as licences with their expiry dates, shows what is missing or expired, and sends reminders before a licence or document expires. Your fleet is still responsible for meeting DOT, FMCSA and provincial rules, and DriverPass does not give legal advice.
No problem. DriverPass lets you assign different compliance checklists by driver type so nothing falls through the cracks.
