App language, notifications and phone permissions

The app's Settings screen holds device preferences. Your profile holds account details.

Change app settings

  1. In the app, tap More, then Settings.
  2. Tap App language and pick a language. DriverPass pages inside the app follow this choice.
  3. Use Notifications on this device to turn alerts on or off. If your phone blocks them, tap Manage in phone Settings.
  4. Settings also has Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, Email Support, Help Center and your App version.

Settings or profile?

Settings only changes this phone. To change your name, phone number or other account details, tap More, then Profile.

Turning notifications off does not delete anything. Location is only used for a load you are tracking, and the camera only when you take a photo.

If a permission is blocked

When the app asks, tap Open Settings, allow the permission for DriverPass, then go back to the app.

For load tracking, iPhone needs location set to Always. Android needs Allow all the time, and some Android phones also need battery use set to Unrestricted so tracking keeps running. The app shows these steps when you start tracking a load.

Yes. You'll get automatic alerts when documents are about to expire and can upload renewals directly from your phone.

For Shippers

Not as a report. Shippers use Secure Trip in DriverPass to follow their own loads. For a carrier's compliance documents, ask the carrier directly.

Compliance & Safety

We track license classes, medical cards, background checks, training completion, and more. You'll get alerts before anything expires.
DriverPass helps you keep the records. It stores driver files such as licences with their expiry dates, shows what is missing or expired, and sends reminders before a licence or document expires. Your fleet is still responsible for meeting DOT, FMCSA and provincial rules, and DriverPass does not give legal advice.
No problem. DriverPass lets you assign different compliance checklists by driver type so nothing falls through the cracks.
