Trip pay: trip pay rules, trips in the pay period, invoices and DayforcePay drivers per trip. Set trip pay rules (rate per mile, extra, minimum, waiting and layover rates) with an effective date, check each driver's trips in the pay period, edit or remove a trip with a reason, then approve. Contractor invoices and Dayforce files include the trips.
Import trips: upload or paste a trip sheet, review the checks, undo an importOn the Trips tab of Time clock & payroll, upload an Excel or CSV trip sheet (a trip list or a weekly day grid) or paste cells, say which column holds what, fill in the miles from saved routes or a free estimate, fix what the review flags and add the trips. A wrong import can be undone.

Do I have to pay to use DriverPass?

No. DriverPass is free for drivers.

What happens if I lose my phone or documents?

Your profile and the documents you upload are saved in your DriverPass account, not only on your phone. Sign in from any phone or computer to see them. If you can't sign in, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in page. If you lose a paper document, upload a photo of the replacement when you have it.

Will DriverPass help me stay compliant?

Yes. You'll get automatic alerts when documents are about to expire and can upload renewals directly from your phone.

For Shippers

Can we request carrier compliance reports?

Not as a report. Shippers use Secure Trip in DriverPass to follow their own loads. For a carrier's compliance documents, ask the carrier directly.

Compliance & Safety

What kind of compliance tracking does DriverPass offer?

We track license classes, medical cards, background checks, training completion, and more. You'll get alerts before anything expires.

Does DriverPass help with DOT, FMCSA, or provincial regulations?

DriverPass helps you keep the records. It stores driver files such as licences with their expiry dates, shows what is missing or expired, and sends reminders before a licence or document expires. Your fleet is still responsible for meeting DOT, FMCSA and provincial rules, and DriverPass does not give legal advice.

What if I manage different types of drivers (e.g., company vs. owner-operators)?

No problem. DriverPass lets you assign different compliance checklists by driver type so nothing falls through the cracks.
