Use the Safety Calendar for expiry dates

See licence, document, equipment and training dates in one calendar, and jump to the record behind each one.

Browse dates

  1. In the sidebar, click Safety Calendar.
  2. Under Show on calendar, turn sources on or off: Driver licenses, Driver documents, Trucks, Trailers, Training, Document Bank, Incident follow-ups and Seasonal & safety.
  3. Under Severity, choose All, Warnings & critical or Critical only. Click Today to come back to this month.
  4. Click an event to see its details, then click the button at the bottom, for example Open driver profile, Edit truck or Open incident, to go to the record and update it there.

Add your own event

  1. Click Add Safety Event.
  2. Enter the Title, Type, Description, Severity, Start date and End date. Tick Recurs annually? if it repeats, and pick a Region and Color if you like.
  3. Click Save.

If a date looks wrong

The calendar only shows dates saved elsewhere in DriverPass. Fix the date on the record itself, for example on the unit or the driver's document. Don't delete a valid file or add a duplicate event to hide a warning. Time off has its own Time-Off Calendar.

Incident follow-ups come from the Follow up on date in an incident's Safety review. They show as Incident follow-up until the incident is Closed. To move or remove one, change the date on the incident or close it.

FAQs

For Employers & Carriers

DriverPass is a driver verification and compliance management platform built to help carriers streamline hiring, onboarding, and fleet compliance, all in one place.
We save you time and money by automating driver onboarding, licence & document tracking, and compliance monitoring, so you can focus on moving freight.
Any fleet size, from 5 to 500+ drivers. We work with local, regional, and long-haul fleets, including carriers in the U.S. and Canada.
Yes. You can add dispatchers, HR, compliance officers, or managers, each with customized permissions.

For Drivers

No. DriverPass is free for drivers.
Your profile and the documents you upload are saved in your DriverPass account, not only on your phone. Sign in from any phone or computer to see them. If you can't sign in, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in page. If you lose a paper document, upload a photo of the replacement when you have it.
Yes. You'll get automatic alerts when documents are about to expire and can upload renewals directly from your phone.

For Shippers

Not as a report. Shippers use Secure Trip in DriverPass to follow their own loads. For a carrier's compliance documents, ask the carrier directly.

Compliance & Safety

We track license classes, medical cards, background checks, training completion, and more. You'll get alerts before anything expires.
DriverPass helps you keep the records. It stores driver files such as licences with their expiry dates, shows what is missing or expired, and sends reminders before a licence or document expires. Your fleet is still responsible for meeting DOT, FMCSA and provincial rules, and DriverPass does not give legal advice.
No problem. DriverPass lets you assign different compliance checklists by driver type so nothing falls through the cracks.
