See where drivers and employees live on the Driver Map and Employee Map
Plot drivers and office staff by their home address on the profile, fix addresses that won't map, and plan meetings or events near a central spot.
What these maps show
Both maps place a pin at each person's address from their DriverPass profile. They are not live locations and they don't show trucks or loads. For trucks and trailers, use Fleet Map. For a driver's load, use Secure Trip.
The Driver Map shows all drivers on your roster, coloured by status: Active Drivers, Pre-Employment and Inactive. The Employee Map shows your active office employees and staff logins, and lets you filter by department.
Both maps are for the fleet owner. Find them under Driver Management > Driver Map and Employee Management > Employee Map.
Use the Driver Map
- Open Driver Management > Driver Map. Addresses already placed load right away.
- If you see Geocode New, click it to place drivers whose address is new or changed. Click Refresh All to place every address again. This can take a few minutes.
- Under Filter by Status, untick the groups you don't want to see. Click a pin to see the driver's details.
- In the Driver Directory, click the locate button on a row to jump to that driver on the map.
Use the Employee Map
- Open Employee Management > Employee Map.
- Use Filter by Department to show only some teams. Click a pin to see the employee's details.
- In the Employee Directory, search by name, email or address, or pick a city or province.
- Click Re-geocode All Addresses if pins look out of date.
Fix a missing or wrong address
People without a usable address are listed under Needs Address Update, split into No Address Entered and Address Not Recognized.
On the Driver Map, click Fix to open the driver's profile and correct the address there.
On the Employee Map, click Fix to open Fix Employee Address. Type in Search New Address, pick the suggestion and click Save & Geocode. This changes the address on the employee's profile, so make sure it is their real address.
