How the app and the website fit together

The app has its own trip screens and shows your DriverPass pages inside it.

What DriverPass is

DriverPass helps drivers and fleets manage driver profiles, documents, forms, training, job applications and time off. Secure Trip handles assigned loads, pickup checks, proof of delivery and tracking during a load. What you see depends on your account type and your fleet.

What is shared

In the app, the Trip tab, sign-in, signup and Settings are built into the app. Dashboard, Training, Files and most items under More open the same DriverPass pages you see on the website, using the same account. Anything you save in one place shows in the other.

Why an app update may be needed

Changes to DriverPass pages show up when the page reloads. Changes to the built-in parts, such as Trip screens, sign-in or location permissions, arrive only with an app update from the App Store or Google Play. Your app version is shown at the bottom of Settings.

If two screens look different

  1. Check whether you are on a Trip screen or a DriverPass page.
  2. Pull down or reopen the tab once with a working connection.
  3. Check the app store for an update. Until it arrives, use the website for the same task.

Yes. You'll get automatic alerts when documents are about to expire and can upload renewals directly from your phone.

For Shippers

Not as a report. Shippers use Secure Trip in DriverPass to follow their own loads. For a carrier's compliance documents, ask the carrier directly.

Compliance & Safety

We track license classes, medical cards, background checks, training completion, and more. You'll get alerts before anything expires.
DriverPass helps you keep the records. It stores driver files such as licences with their expiry dates, shows what is missing or expired, and sends reminders before a licence or document expires. Your fleet is still responsible for meeting DOT, FMCSA and provincial rules, and DriverPass does not give legal advice.
No problem. DriverPass lets you assign different compliance checklists by driver type so nothing falls through the cracks.
